Louisville Central is appealing a decision made at this spring's Class 2A state track meet. The appeal could result in the Yellowjackets sharing the title with CovCath.
CovCath track coach Joshua McCoy said the appeal's outcome, whatever it is, will do nothing to diminish the program's first state title.
"I feel that my guys did their best," he said. "(Central officials) can do whatever they want. But it's not going to change anything from our standpoint. Our boys did their best and that's all I can ask for."
