Look at what a waste of a perfectly good vehicle.... The Engines have to seized up with this program. They drain the oil out and put Sodium Silicate (liquid Glass) and run them until they lock up.... All the smoke at the end sure looks Environmentally Friendly to me Rolleyes

Why not.......give them to the needy? Or set up some way the needy familes can buy them at a discount, rather than wasting them. This just shows what a wasteful country we live in.

The whole point is to get the clunkers off the road. The parts(excluding engine parts that are useless anyway) are available to by at recycle centers that deal in them.
