A Soldier Returns Home
#1
Killed in action the week before, the body of Sergeant First Class John C. Beale was returned to Falcon Field in Peachtree City , Georgia , just south of Atlanta , on June 11, 2009 . The Henry County Police Department escorted the procession to the funeral home in McDonough , Georgia . A simple notice in local papers indicated the road route to be taken and the approximate time.

Very touching, I would like to see the public respond this way more often.

Seeing this video reminds me of a story I heard from a passenger, about a airline flight that he was on the other day. This particular filght was completely full and was bringing home a soldier who was killed in Iraq. Upon landing the pilot told the passengers that onboard was the body of a soldier and ask everyone to remain seated until the soldier's body had be removed from the plane before leaving the plane. Upon the body being removed from the plane this passenger stoodup only to see that half of the passengers had already left.

Give it a break, man. I'm sure his family doesn't think he died because for "political corruption".

God bless him.

Keep this young man, as well as every other soldier fighting for this ungrateful country in our prayers always, and pray for their safe return home. Thank you veterans for your sacrifice. We will never be able to repay you, but you will always remain in my prayers.
