Out of the teams you listed:

1. Kentucky
2. North Carolina
3. UCLA
4. Duke

Kansas should not have been left out. I'd put them in 3rd behind UNC and before UCLA because they've always had one of the top 5 basketball programs in the country.

I agree with you 110% my friend. UK, UNC, Kansas, UCLA and Duke here too..Indiana has a gripe at number 5 too..

Right now it's UNC and they are near the top all-time. Of course I'm a Tarheel fan, but they are holding the hardware at the moment....and should be doing it again in a couple of years.

For the total package I will take UK. When you take into account national exposure, fan support, wins, championships and conference domination, the University of Kentucky is at the top of the list, just my opinion.

Excellent post and dead on. UNC and Kansas has been able to maintain themselves at the top of the Basketball rankings for the past 20 years.

I guess one would have to put UCLA in this mix as well. Is it all about wins or championships. UK and UNC have more wins, but I'll take UCLA's champsionships.....

Still in the pole UK is up. That is expected on this site. I will never place UK behind another team even if we are losing bad that season.

UCLA had a great run, but that was during that one period, over the period of college basketball, they haven't been as intimidating as some of the other teams. I would list it:
