I figure that this would really help the Christians out there and the ones that are thinking about becoming Christians. This thread is going to be about posting gospel songs. I don't know about you, but to hear a gospel and be touched by the words is so overwhelming to me. Here is the first one. Please feel free to post You Tube or anything that will show a video or play a gospel song. This thread is not about the existence of god, but for the people who believe in him, and love the music. I am not really into gospel, I really like contemory christian music. I don't know how to post stuff from youtube. I will give you some suggestions that you could possibly post if you like. I really enjoy Chris Tomlin, Hillsong United, Jars of Clay. Stuff you listen to on KLove or wayFM if you have those stations where you live. This is a great idea to do, anything to spread the word. I am in a brain lock right now for other suggestions I will post more suggestions later.

Thanks. Some more ideas TobyMac, Kirk Franklin (did the mid 90's classic "Stomp" that lots of mainstream radio play), Keys to the Kingdom (Song title, I don't know the artist) these artist lean towards the hip hop genre. My kids love songs from these artists. Casting Crowns and David Crowder Band.

Some of my favorties are Casting Crowns, TobyMac, Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Brian Free & Assurance. Great topic btw!! I really enjoy this thread. Smile

I personally like the Casting Crowns song "Slow Fade." It reminds me of how dangerous sin really is (and also I like the video they made for it as well).

Im Old Regular Baptist and we sing in the old time mountain way. With lined songs in which the song leader calls out a line of the song and the congregation follows with the line. Anyone who has ever heard singing like that cant deny how powerful and beautiful it is.

Raw and powerful!! Nothing cuts to my soul like a hymn sang with no instruments, just love and passion for the Lord.
