Clay has lost one of the best atheletes in the moutains and we all know how hard that can be on any team. KC had plenty of oppurntunities to score on clay (3 times inside the 10) at North Laurel they were knocking on the door 3 times inside the five you have to take this into consideration.

Clay has lost 5 in a row, North I think 4. Both missed the playoffs with Clay being there 4-5 years in a row. Backwards.
If Knox can be considered a powerhouse in the future, then Clay and Knox can be considered title contenders with that logic.
No to both. :dontthink

You cant deny that KC is heading in the right direction. Should be interesting in a couple of years when Dudleys son graduates to see if he calls it quits then.

There is a lot of if's and but's in this thread. Could they be? of course. However, they must win the games that they are suspose to in which they did not this year. They SHOULD be 8-1. If they where a great team that is what there record would be. KC is not a great football team this year they are a good improving team. They have stepped up in the district from a four to no seat to a solid two seat. They have beaten the Rock the last three out of four times. Some say that the Rock is down, still KC's won. The fact remains until KC beats Bell in the district and is competing with them year in and year out they are just a good improving team. With all that said, I believe that if they work hard in the off season you will see the beginning of a great team next year. When the Bell Knox games becomes a rivial game then Knox will be concidered a powerhouse football team. But knox has to first beat Bell for it to become a rivial.
By the way, KC has 17 Jr's next year also.

It all boils down to how these up and comers respond to the new level of play. Sounds like alot of promising talent is in the future but for now it stops with promising! Can the staff show these young warriors how to apply there talent to the grid iron as some coaches do year in and year out. Either way good luck and keep chipping away it is good to have support from your fans on here!
