This is the most logical post on here. Many of you seem to forget about all of those people that went to college, work 5-6 days a week and still can not afford the inflated cost of taking their small children to a UK game in person. From scalpers right down to a 50 dollar visit to the concession for a couple of cokes and nachos. Price gouging and demand Baby! It IS a shame and we had better be able to enjoy what games are televised and hope our young children feel the atmosphere in the living room, because there are not many on here that can afford that lifestyle and if you can, just feel blessed and not rub in the rest of our faces like a bunch of spolied brats!

I have not attended a UK game in person for years because I refuse to pay inflated ticket prices, so please watch who you are calling a spoiled brat. I may watch UK this season when they play at Mississippi State or LSU but only if I can buy tickets at face value. Otherwise, I can watch other games that fit my entertainment budget.

There is no more fair way to distribute any product than through a free market. People who really, really want to attend a UK home game in person will find a way to pay the fair market price for tickets.

Perhaps you think that UK should give tickets out to people for free through a lottery. Would that be fair? Do you think that the government would fairly distribute tickets if taxpayers footed the bill?

Or maybe you think that the police should crackdown on scalping. Of course, the way that the black market works, a crackdown would result in higher ticket prices because a decrease in supply always drives prices higher - even in countries ruled by socialists. Economics 101.
