Smell a Rat..... Smell a Rose... You are the "Judge"

Boyd County Judge Executive Race. Any doubt that this would happen?

What are you talking about? Not all of us live in Boyd Co.

I think he is refering to the closeness of the Judge's race in Boyd Co.

CATLETTSBURG — Official election results released Friday morning reversed a two-vote lead that Republican challenger Keith Robinette had over Democratic incumbent William “Bud” Stevens for Boyd County Judge-Executive.

Official election results give Stevens an 11 vote lead against Robinette after uncounted votes from the Fairview precinct were included in the vote count.

Why the rush to make this race "official". A finish this close should generate an automatic recount to be paid for by the county not the candidate. It's just a bit strange that as soon as the democrat gets the lead..... the race is official.

No doubt whatsoever. There was no way that Robinette was going to be ahead when all the "votes were "counted".

Sounds like the Bush Florida Incident.

Which recount did Bush win? Did one of the candidates for Boyd Co. Judge lose his home state, which would have given him the election?

No, Wildcatk23, not Florida. A better comparison would be the Senate seat in Minnesota with the race being called as soon as they found and or fabricated enough votes for Al Franken to take the lead.

The supreme court halted the recount and ruled bush the winner.

Every time that the votes were counted, Bush won. The Gore team fouled up by requesting recounts only in heavily Democratic districts in an attempt to stack the deck and when that did not work, they tried to do a total recount. Given Big Al's record since losing Florida, I am surprised that even Democrats are not just simply breathing a big collected sigh of relief. As great a job as Barack Obama is doing destroying our economy, Al Gore could have started the process in 2001 had he only carried his home state of Tennessee.

The Supreme Court did not "rule" Bush the winner. Gore ran a lousy campaign and blew the election. He never won a single recount.

Getting back to the subject at hand. Doesn't the Secretary of State in Kentucky oversee elections and have a say if any hankypanky took place. Also, what political party does he belong to.

If you want to talk about a history of voter fraud and political corruption, all I have to say is two words, CLAY COUNTY.
