i heard that there wasnt gonna be any NCAA basketball game this year and i was wondering what everyone thought of this or if i heard wrong.

EA sports isn't gonna make another one..hopefully 2K will buy it back and start making them again.

Only reason why EA dropped it was because they couldn't sell any copies.

I did enjoy the 2K series much more, so hopefully they'll begin making the games again.

All wrong. EA sports dropped their college basketball game because of one of the O'Bannon brothers from UCLA being a broke hoodlum filed a class action lawsuit against them among others including the NCAA for using his as well as other former and present NCAA stars likeness in their game production.

I figured it was just a matter of time before this happened. I know you could pic any team and the players were based on the talents and likeness of the players on that years roster. I can remember play with Marshall and they had a computer generated player that was just like JR VanHoose. Kinda like openin a MacDaddy's and serving a MacRibblet samich. If you get my drift.

Yeah, I agree, this sucks. That idiot ruined it for all of us.

I think last year's EA game was the best ever. God I had so many close games with these Tennessee fans. I'm going to buy it again as soon as possible.
