Belfry 48 Lawrence County 6
#1
345 for Haywood! He is the Co- Wins Leader in KY!

Total and utter domination by Belfry as the running clock kicks in early in the 3rd. Pirates with around 200 rushing. Williams and Warren combine to go 8/8 passing for around 200 yards and 3 TD's.

As you said earlier, I liked this game. No huddle, passing and Win Number 345 for a GREAT Coach. Haywood is VERY Deserving of the Honor. Now on to Number 346 and the Outright Coaching Wins Record!

congrats Pirates and on to the number 1seed

pirates looked good tonite.. loved the passing, ran the ball down their throats, and a tough defense, except the 1st play of the game.. saved by robinson i believe.. pirates still held them a series, and then drove their way 80 plus for a touchdown.. great game on both sides of the ball for the pirates.. haywood tied the record tonite and looks to break it next weekend..

lawrence county played a great game tonite, good luck to them on the rest of their season, and in the playoffs.

Congrats Pirates on a great game.... Want to include Coach Haywood in on the congrats also for obtaining his "tie" in all time wins. Another amazing game played tonight by an outstanding group of young men!
#7
Congrats to Belfry and especially Coach Haywood

Great job Haywood it looked early like they over looked the bulldogs but quick adjustments
got them back in the right direction...
#9
Congrats to the Pirates!

Was in attendance tonight. Other than the fact that I nearly froze myself to death, great game. I was completely shocked by the accuracy and precision of the passing by both QB's for Belfry. The second play of the game showed how good the coaching staff of the PCN really is. Great adjustments after the first play. Dotson (22) is one of the fastest kids I've ever seen in eastern KY. That kid has wheels! Definitely has to be considered one of the few true deep threats in the mountains.

Coach Chapman has to be scratching his head right now. I assume there was a scout in attendance tonight for PC. After the report he/she would've given Chapman had there been a scout in attendance, he has to be confused. I would assume he's had his boys preparing all year to contain the outside run and stop Willis (3) up the middle. Now that Belfry put on an air show I wonder what is going through the mind of Coach Chapman.

Belfry played a little sloppy at times, but still put together a great game. The Belfry D looks to be rock solid. Way to go Haywood and team looks to be another year with a chance to play for a state title.Confusedinglepar Get ready for PCC should be the game of the week.

I loved that Warren and Williams both nailed Dotson on a long strike that left me wondering who threw the prettier pass? Both of them were WONDERFUL! Tyler comes out in the two minute drill and impresses. Belfry gives ole' Coach Chapman a little more to worry about. Gonna be a GREAT game next week!

Congrats to Coach Haywood and the Pirates!

Having the chance to get the record for their coach, at the Hawks place, is going to motivate the hell out of these Belfry boys. Let's hope Central brings it too, so we don't see a blowout.

Congratulations to Belfry and the hole pond creek nation and most of all to Coach Mr. Haywood your a class A act and it shows in your program.
#15
Congratulations to all the Belfry Pirate football players and also Coach Haywood and the entire Belfry coaching staff !!

The Dawgs were out of their league in this one. Congrats to Coach Heywood on reaching a coaching milestone that few will ever see in this day and time. As I have said before, there is not a classier individual who teaches team play and turns young men into hard working young adults.

Agree with you on this. Heck of a ballplayer! There are several young men who are capable of catching the ball and this makes Belfry a dual threat! RUN it and PASS it.... What else could ya want!

Belfry has 2 great QBs, and 6 or 7 great running backs. Other than some minor mistakes great job. With the way that D is playing lookout PCC, and the O showed you cant cheat all 11 player to stop the run you could get bit by the pass. Howie Dotson again proved he has great hands. Offense looks poised and confident line blocks well for the run and no pressure on the QB before the throw, keep up the good work you guy are what makes it all come together! D playin great keep it up.:ilikeit:
