Highlands 67, Johnson Central 20
Yes. How is the injured player. And btw, my dog could beat up your dog.

Thank you for asking.

He is doing much better. He suffered a severe concussion. He is also a diabetic and due to his injury his blood sugar levels dropped dangerously during the half. He lost conciousness and was having a hard time breathing. It was extremely scary for all of our young men who witnessed this during the half. At this time they were not worried about a game, but concerned for their brother.

Congratulations Bluebirds! That may have been the best football team you guys have fielded since we've been playing each other. Good luck the rest of the playoffs. We'll see ya next year..........

That's good news! Hope he enjoys a full recovery.

And thanks for the compliments. Although some have questioned the schedule, the Birds are very talented across all phases (offense, defense, special teams). The depth is amazing this year.
There's 3 teams on Highlands schedule that are still playing. Western, Boyle Co, and Covcath. Maybe the schedule wasn't as bad as people thought and Highlands is just that dominant.
Thank you Keepnitreal. Extremely glad he's doing much better. That had to be a very tough and scary experience for his team mates and loved ones.

Also want to thank you for the compliments on the Birds. There are still a lot of people throughout the state that question whether the Birds are the real deal. Winning state might not convince all of them, but it may convince some of them.

Hope to play JC again next year. While I may not always enjoy what goes on in the prediction threads, I love watching the kids compete against one another on the field of play.

It probably could. Then again, my dog can find, point and retrieve more pheasant, quail and grouse than your dog can.

I would go with that one.
It's fans lilke Bubbles why UK football will never suceed. Besides encourage the kid and being thankful UK is getting one of the best QB in the nation who could have basically throw a dart at a map and picked a school. The UK FAN tells him get use to losing, way to be a fan and support your team. Coming from a UofL fan I wish the kid nothing but the best and hope he gets an education for free and possible make a living doing what he loves. I'm so glad Teddy Brigdewater decided to come to UofL a struggling program and looks like he might be the guy to turn it around. Maybe Towles can be that guy for UK and I hate that he has to play in front of fans that are already saying that he is going to fail.
