Congrats Cards. Holy Cross was supposed to better than last year but they wasn't at all. HC couldn't even score on our JV team.

HC is a dirty playing team and #21 is the worst of them. No respect for them at all.

Mayfield scores at will against a team the out weighs them by avg of 100lbs on the line.... Wow i cant believe this, sittin in the stands and watching the warm ups that we man handled a team of this size.... Lou holy cross is a huge team compared to what we face here locally. They had a few good drives but stood no chace in their dirty Game play as The Cards Controled every part of the Game and turned the ball over several time as they were fixing to score. the Game should had been easily another 14 to 21 points but its football and this late in the year u can not make those kind of turnovers.. LHC was a very good ranked #3 team .... Just as the #2 Beechwood team is but will be in for one hell of a night as the Cards Are pretty much the equivlent as last years team...!! Jv kept them out of the endzone for the last 5 min of the game... I'm not sayin we would beat highlands but would love to play them to see where we stood against a team of that caliber...

Overall I think Mayfield is better than last years STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM, the offense is a step off from last year, but the defense is twice as good as last years:igiveup:

This could very well be the best defense to go thru the school and with another year of these guys it's going to be quite nice .
