#1
Final
#2
Impressive!
#3
I didn't see that one coming...I knew BG was good but not that good.
#4
Wow! That's a serious butt whippin! I thought it would be a good game. Opps!
#5
It's just clear that Bowling Green is the class of 5A this year.
#6
It's clear now. To watch them dominate a team like John Hardin was very impressive. Even I underestimated them. It's a great day to be a Purple fan.
#7
Wow!!!! Congrats BG
#8
I knew it was clear when they beat St. X earlier in the year, although I didn't think they would put up 62. There finals will be with a running clock.
#9
congrats to BG
#10
Congrats BG!

I, like many others, thought this would be the game of the night but, we were obviously wrong. Bowling Green with a big win and a big statement that they are going to be the Class 5A State Champions!! Congrats BG!!

Bowling Green will roll over Anderson County next week and become the 5A champions!

Bowling Green may be the second best team in the state whether Highlands likes it or not.
This team has proved time and time again this year they are by far the best in 5A.

As i said a million times this year, it didnt matter who came out of the east because this would be the state championship game.
I expect them to be Anderson worse than this.

Well, so much for the game of the week. Congrats Purples

As I said before, HHS beat Lexcath by wider margins than did John Hardin or BG, I'm sticking with the Bluebirds!

:lmao:

I too think HHS is the best until proven otherwise but the score comparison is a little shaky.

HHS beats the Knights by 21.
Purples beat Lex Cath by 18. Hardly a huge difference.

I can see the John Hardin comparison but not the Bowling Green one.

Lexington Catholic scored their last TD on Bowling Greens subs with about a minute to go. It could have been 30-6 very easily. The Purples starting defense gave up six points to LC. Quite a few less than the 21 they scored on Highlands. It would be a great game either way.

The way Bowling Green beat teams this year, there wasn't really a championship game at all. Heck, it looks like it will end up the closest team to BG in the postseason will be GREENWOOD.

Lol. I hope it doesn't go to their heads.

After eating from the many delicious places to eat in Bowling Green, alot of great places to choose from lol, I arrived about 4 minutes late, and while at the ticket stand I heard the roar of the crowd, and looked up to see bowling green was ahead 14-0. That is WOW, especially on a John Hardin team, Scooter Hollis is a remake of Cam Newton, he can make it happen with his arm or feet, and the reciever, Fant, don't know if I spelled that right, can make catches that make you go WOW, the running back, Hunter Nevarus(spelling?) is very very good, what also impressed me was Bowling Greens line, and there Defense, the way they did that to a John Hardin team that was undefeated is WOW, I guess you can say im a purples fan now, Congragulations Bowling Green!

Can we just continue to play? Trinity vs BG, HHS vs Central, Hazard or mayfield vs holy cross? Lol! I hope UK can get some of these great players!

True, however, JH and Greenwood and Warren Central would blow out any team in the east IMO.
