Good win against a LCC team that is not very bad.

Aileah Bartley does deep again for the Panthers. And Emily Hall gets the shutout assisted by a great defensive game.

seems like the letcher county teams . lcc and jenkins are starting to dwindle . when my girl played seems like they had more great players per team than they do now . A good summer program might be a good solution like the girls have down south. I know lcc shouldnt have any trouble having enough girls to choose from and the cavs dont have many to choose from but it could be a benefit to both programs for a summer program to be started.

It is important for them to play summer ball if there coached by the right people.... you see to many people trying to coach that know nothing about the game.. there are plenty of clinics and material out there that help learn the game.. if they get into small rec leagues sometimes that can hurt more than can help and in that area it's very tough to find good tournaments. you would have to travel to tennessee for good tournaments. It's tough these days because families and kids don't want to spend all summer doing this. Some very nice talent in that area but they focus more on basketball than softball.
