BOONE COUNTY 7, FLEMING COUNTY 4 – Senior right-hander Kameron Schultz drove in three runs without getting a hit, and he picked up the win to lead the Rebels in the Harrison Memorial Classic at Harrison County.
Schwartz hit into a fielder’s choice to plate a run in the first inning, and he lifted sacrifice flies in the third and fourth innings.
Fleming County walked the first four batters of the game and Boone County scored three runs in the first inning.
The Panthers cut the Rebels’ lead to three with four runs in the seventh, but Boone County senior left-hander Tyler Eglian came in to record the final out, inducing a fly out to left with two runners on to earn his first save of the season.
