Freshman right-hander Mitchell Jones pitched all five innings in Highlands’ 10-0 victory over Dayton. Jones, who improved to 3-2 on the season after notching his second shutout, allowed just three hits to help the Bluebirds (13-20) to their fifth shutout victory this season.

Junior Gabe Schultz and freshmen Jake Whitford and Luke Hennigan each drove in a pair of runs to spur on the Highlands offense.
