Best concession stand hot chocolate?
#1
It's that time when ya gotta have hot chocolate. I am going to a game Friday night and I am basing my decision based on the quality of concession stand hot chocolate. Who has the best?
#2
Somerset's is great, they have an actual hot chocolate machine. No watered down mix from a little white packet, vanilla cappuccino is really good also.

Worst ever was at BG at state finals!

War Memorial in Mayfield must be very good. They normally sell out before halftime.
#4
Maybe I should go to Somerset! Fair warning, I will buy about 50 dollars worth at a time, so be prepared! I go to games just for the hot chocolate!
#5
I have never had a good cup of hot chocolate at a game in my life.
#6
Mayfield is like 6 hours away from me but for a solid cup of chocolate, me and Kelly Kapowski will be making the trip!

I go to games for football. What is a concession stand?

I have seen them, but never visit them. FOOTBALL is too important to spend time in line at a concession stand!

For the Band!

Stardust, where I usually go to games, the football game is 48 playing minutes, while the band gets about 5 minutes pregame and about 5 minutes at halftime before the visiting band gets to perform. As a former band parent, we had two daughters play in band, we know that the vast majority of people do not come to the games for the band. Most of the people in the stands do not even watch the bands, they talk with their neighbors or go to the rest room. The band has their food and drink furnished by the band parents of the home band and it is served during the bands's break during the third quarter. That time for the bands is used as a meet and greet session. See at the school where I usually attend games even the band does not use the concession stand.

The concession stand is where dreams come true! I will give bonus points to any concession stand that gives me little marshmallows to float in my chocolate. Bayside had the best chocolate when I was in high school!

I dont go off hot chocolate, I choose my games based solely on the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

So, we really need someone to start a thread in the football forums on "Best Bathrooms" Confusednicker:

I don't know about the best but I do know where you can get the worst...Highlands! I have been watching the Birds for about fifty years. When I was a kid the HC was awful and now that I am old man it is still awful. If I had to guess, I would say that one of the concession stand workers fills the jug with hot water while he has a small Hershey Bar in his pocket. However, the restrooms are reasonably clean and they pump the heat in on those cold nights.

The best hot chocolate that I ever had AFTER a game was at Highlands. A church organization (I think HH Baptist) was set up at the corner of Ave of Champions and Memorial Parkway giving out free HC after a cold playoff game. It sure was good.

I completely agree! Somerset has the best hot chocolate around. And yes, the hot chocolate at the state champion game was nothing short of horrible!!!!:ChairHit: :HitWall:
