North Laurel 49 Letcher County 6
#1
Wasn't there heard this was varsity score and went 20 plays then game like.
Jv score was 21-6 North Laurel
Said varsity went 45 minutes running clock for both teams

Any updates from anyone there?

South Laurel didn't look bad tonight either and I am pretty sure Clark has a good team.

I wasn't there but I heard North dominated. Good luck to both teams this season.

Jaguars sound like they are a team to fear this year.

Seemed like Letcher County Central was not prepared for the speed and intensity that North brought to this scrimmage. The Cougars looked as if they could hang with the Jags for the first couple of series, but, then the speed created problems. Their bigs seemed to get slower and where not effective against the speedy Jags. The running game was effective for the Jags. The passing game needs improvement and the defense was better than anyone could have expected. Overall I would give the Jags a grade of B-. The Jags seemed to be about ready for their first game against Claiborne, TN next week. Go Jags!!!

Good to see our neighbors from the North side having success. I like to see both of our schools do well.

I was impressed with North last year when we played over there. They should have a BIG year.

North is well improved.
Larkey finally has built a team he can do something with.

But, LCC will be pretty bd this year. It will take a year or two before Holcomb can get threw.

LCC must be down.

I feel north could be a team to reckoned with this year. Losing practically nobody from a team that put-up a good fight against us last year. Do you feel the same?
