TigerBlues Wrote:Hall and Estep looked great vs PCC as did the entire team. Best to the Panthers this year jet

Thanks TB. Good luck to the Tigers as well. They really need a win over Pineville to get the season going well. Hope they get the win.

Don't believe they will get the win over Pineville.

Mike Lemaster here, what is the criteria for being "the best" on a football team? Speed, strength, height, agility? I know which kids can fill each of these criteria, not one name can be spoken for all 4. In all your vast knowledge, and you obviously do not care to step on children, who can you name to fill in as "the best?"

I don't have a dog in this fight....(YES I DO)....I have been around these kids since they were Tee-Ballers! All I have to say is GROW THE F$*& UP!

IF people and parents would shut the F$%@ up and leave this team alone. They WILL be fine. So what if the other team throwed in their freshman and sophs...guess what....? The majority of this Tiger team is fresh and Sophs!

Coach WILL do this his way in the end and that is all anyone can ask for!

Keep your lips outa your kids ear and pat them on the back and things will turn out just fine!

Sorry but you don't have a dog in this fight. I understand that one of your children went to Paintsville but you sir did not. Your language on here really shows what kind of role model your are for our children as well. You've never given one ounce of sweat to the Paintsville Tiger football team so what gives you the right to come on here a put your two cents in?

They say character is what you do when no one is watching. What does that say about your character if you hide behind an anonymous screen name and take shots at teenagers? Paintsville has 108 boys in grades 9-12 spread across football, soccer, cross country, and golf according to KHSAA. Paintsville has always been up a couple years and then down for a few years, that is Class A athletics. We realize that it is an uphill battle for us, football is a numbers game. We have good numbers at the moment and very talented kids including several new faces. For the last 7 or 8 years we have had a division amongst fans who have opinions on everything football, but all they want to do is complain rather than sign up to help. Coach Chirico is a great coach, Dale mentioned in a previous post how highly he regards Coach Chirico and I think that speaks volumes about a guy when an opposing coach takes the time to compliment him. Coach Chirico is the kind of guy any parent would want their son to look up to as a role model. He is the type of guy that you could stack the odds against and he would find a way to succeed. He is the best man for the job! Just remember when you hide behind a screen name and take jabs, that anyone can be ten feet tall and bulletproof in an anonymous forum. All of us that signed up to coach the 2013 Tigers realize the obstacles we face, and unfortunately what our wives and small children must endure this fall. We have a plan to succeed, we have made decisions collectively as a staff that we feel best benefit our team. We would put our staff up against any! Also remember these are teenage kids that have bought in through time, effort, and hard work. It isn't fair for an adult who can't draw up a base cover 2 defense to tell them what is and isn't right with their football program. We hope that those of you who are true supporters get behind us this fall, put the team in front of individual agendas and genuinely support us. They also say it takes a village, and when all of our supporters put their opinions and personal agendas aside, we can restore our athletic programs! GO TIGERS!

LOL...I beg to differ. It doesn't matter where I went to school and I have given more sweat to that entire school system than most of these smoke blowers on here have. And yes my son went there and graduated and guess what? I'm STILL here giving sweat to that school and it's kids. So I got just as much a right as anybody to put my 2 cents in. If you really want to know what I do. Just go ask the Principal or ANY of the Coaches at that school. I'm sure they will be more than happy to open your eyes for you.

My language??? Confusednicker: I guess you have wings and a Halo. If what I said offends you. Please, don't get near the field on a Friday night, cause your baby will break your heart with his language. Oh never mind. They all have wings and halos also. And if they are reading this stuff, maybe you need to be a better role model and teach your kids to stay off sites like this.

Also..here's something else I think is funny. Everybody on here and not on here knows who I am. And now that I've said something that hurts your ears, you wanna try and poke back at me because you know who I am. Well, poke all you want. :eyeroll:

Let's try this. Tell us who you guys are hiding behind your screen names. You know what. Never mind that. I don't want to know who you are. Because it's apparent that you REALLY don't know who I am.

So have a nice day and see you at the games. Just not this Friday. Going to Lawrence to watch my nephew play for Boyd Co. Senior Year. Wanna see him play a few more times while I can. Figured I would go ahead and tell ya now. So you couldn't question my support, when you didn't see me in my usual Friday night standing spot.

More drama than one can shake a stick at. But it makes good reading material while taking a crap.

Cardinals ride Wrote:I thought sitting your starters and letting other guys get an opportunity is exactly what scrimmage games were for ?!?

Can't believe you are talking about starting the season out with a win. Because this isn't the season. It's preseason and has almost zero impact on the season.

Amen!

I've got to say it. This thread is hilarious.

On the football side of things, will Fannin be at the qb slot this week? I heard he hurt his hand or arm in the scrimmage and I didn't know if anybody had an update on that?
#44
Hope he is ok! Kid has a ton of heart!

Can't disagree with that.. Anytime you get a coach to comment on a thread you have dug deep and hit a nerve. :lame:
