BGR Information
#1
As some of you are aware, once a year, toward the end of football season, I like to give the members some info they may not know.

This year I want to talk about popular threads, most viewed, most replied, etc....

High School Football Forum

Most Viewed
1. The most VIEWED thread in the history of BGR in the high school football section is simply titled, "Next Coach at Bell County?" The thread was started after Dudley Hilton left for greener pastures at UPIKE. The thread was viewed 39,468 times.
The post was started by Cats02, who is still a regular here on BGR.
Heres the link to that thread.....

2. The second most viewed thread was yet another Bell County thread.
The thread "Lawrence County @ Bell County 11/20" was the second most viewed thread. The thread had 38,835 views falling slightly behind the top thread. The thread was started by CatDawg, a former mod and regular member on the site. The thread was the most memorable one for me, and the reason i joined BGR. After all the smoke cleared, Bell blew LC out of the water advancing in the playoffs. The thread had the most replies ever, but we'll get to that in a minute.
You can find that thread here...

3. The third most viewed thread, susprisingly, atleast to me was a thread titled, "Paintsville 2013" For such a small school, the thread received 35,701 times. The thread only had 475 replies, which means it dont even make the top 5 in replies. The thread was started by TigerBlues who is still a regular on the site.
Heres a link to that thread...

You can see the list in order of most viewed here....

Most Replied

1. Although coming in second place in views, the thread, "Lawrence County @ Bell County 11/20" came in first in replies at 1,182 replies! Its the only high school football thread to break over 1000 replies and shows Bell Countys dominance in these threads.
Once again, the thread can be found here...
http://www.bluegrassrivals.com/forum/sho...hp?t=74550

2. As stated earlier, the thread "Next Coach at Bell County?" was number one for views, but it falls second in replies. It has 862 replies. For those of you to lazy to scroll back up, heres the link again...

3. Our third most replied to thread is yet another Bell County thread. The thread "Bell County @ Boyle County 11/27" had 668 replies. The thread was started by loyal member ROCKSOLID69, who surprisingly is a Rockcastle fan and had no ties to the game. It was about the Bell/Boyle playoff game of 2009, in which Boyle County won 13-10.
That thread can be viewed here...

You can find the list of most replied to threads here....
http://www.bluegrassrivals.com/forum/for...replycount

Bell County was associated with all three threads and 5 out of the 6 for views and replies. "Highlands @ Harlan County" was in 4th place for replies for those of you HC fans out there.

As you can see, as the site gets older, we get more views. That is why these not so old threads have already surpassed older threads that were popular. (In 5th place is the "Breaking News" thread talking about Fairviews cheating that still be viewed and posted on today!)

Just a little information on our wonderful site.
Thanks to all who post and keep posting and for making our site larger everyday. I have a feeling some new threads will take the place in the near future. For those of you who would like to know how to view this, simply click the "replies", and "views" button at the top of each forum just under the "search this forum" tab. This puts the threads in order from most to least.
By clicking "thread starter" it also shows the threads in order by users names aphabetically, like this...http://www.bluegrassrivals.com/forum/for...stusername

These threads will soon be moved into the BGR Classics Forum.
See you all next year for more BGR info....
