Congratulations to Corey! I'm happy for he and his family that their decision has been made. It can be pretty tough deciding the future for a kid and which college is the best choice for him. You have to take all things, including academics as well as the football program and how they fit into it into account. The decision is a LOT harder than most people think it is unless they have been through it themselves. I'm sure he will do fine at UPike with football AND his academics. Good luck boy!! Stay healthy and bust those books!

According to other sources, tyler Guffey is also going there. Looks like pikeville got anothere steal.

I have no ideal. I would imagine Guffey could atleast be in the running for a starting spot within a year or two. They didn't look to good this year.
I think Dudley is really starting to recruit the mountain kids hard which could help or hurt. Im not sure yet.

It will be interesting to see who will win the Qb job next year at U-Pike. I know they have a sr Qb this year but next year it will wide open.

Good for him, kids got a heck of an arm!

congratulations Corey, a year to learn behind a senior should make you a contender for a starting spot. Watched him this year and with a little help on his footwork could be a very good qb. Hollan does a good job with his qb's

Kid has a big league arm.

IMO Corey was the best Qb that not faced this past season. I know he had the best are of anyone they have played over the last 2 years.

Corey had 15 int and 19 tds this year
Wayne qb had 7int and32tds

Pikeville also has signed another QB Sani Warren from Belfry, great athlete that could fit in really well with what Pikeville runs ideal for the wildcat.

But look at the line and the WR's that rock had!!! Most of them had hands of stone. Plus rocks line didn't give him much time to throw that's where most of his int's came from.

The Knox game wasn't a complete blowout you know. And Corey, as good as he is, wasn't a one man show.
I have posted a link to Jared Lake's HUDL account. Jared is a senior lineman that went both ways and played every offense line position at one time or another during the season. There are some highlights from the Knox game in there and he had to pare down to 100 clips for his highlight video.
There are some pretty decent connections by receivers in the video too.
