We were the #1 pass defense in Class A and the #4 pass defense in the entire nation. I signed out of high school with Pre-season/Post-season #13 in NAIA. I had several offers to go to other NAIA, Div. 2 and 3 schools, and had the chance to walk-on at a Div.1AA too. I played football for two years in college til I blew my knee out. So for someone not playing a down of football in their life, you must be talking about someone else but it sure as hell isn't me.Dude, What is this...STUMP THE SCHWABB? Who cares!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PHSCARD Wrote:Not ragging, just trying to get some of you Jenkin's posters heads out of the clouds. You still almost have half the season left, and you are looking at a potential playoff spot, if you keep living in the games you've played this season you won't look ahead for the brighter picture. Sounds like you all are satisfied by what you have done so far, never be satisfied, you've got to be hungry and want it more than every team you play every Friday night. You have to prepare harder than your opposition. You got to be the team that when the others call it a day at 6, you are still out there running gasers in uppers. You can't be content on a 2 win season. If you are happy with where you are and want to keep on bragging on what you've done to this point, go ahead, just realize that you actually got more to play for now. But if you want to do something more, and something some team from your school may never do again any time soon, leave the game behind on saturday and start to prepare mentally and physically for the next game. The past is done with, tomorrow brings a new day, you just have to decide that if tomorrow you want to prepare like the better team or just throw your hat out on the field saying we won 2 games and we're the best team Jenkins has had in forever, that decision is up to you and the other players.Good Post! I can honestly say that this Jenkins team workds hard in practice and finally see's what they could have in store for them. It has been 11-12 years since Jenkins made it to the playoffs but I agree that we aregoing to have to prove that we can play with 1 of the 3 powers in our district! Just a great group of boys...

PHSCARD Wrote:Well most people on here know who I am, and I believe I have just about as much a right to post the way I feel just like you do. And take my advice, try to get some of your track studs out on the football field and you will have much better results and possibly get the program back on track to at least a .500 record.
when did you run track? I ran for Jenkins back in 2000 when we won region. Jenkins does have some good runners now but not like we used to. and one or two do play football. They just dont have that many boy in the school no more. to many kids around her dont like to get dirty or something, I guess they dont grow them like they used to. or mommy and daddy dont want them to get hurt. lol......
