Depending on where you live... it could be the type of neighborhood you live in, your location in the state or how you were rasied.

My dad never once said to me.... "The lawn needs to be mowed"
I always got... "The grass needs to be cut"

And on a side note, I would rather use a push mower for two hours rather than weed eat for five minutes.



So lets hear it.

I cut grass.
A lawn is something that looks good and people take care of.
Grass is something you cut down as low as you can and hope it dies so you don't have to mow again for 2 weeks.

I hate grass. Like you, I also would rather push mow hills which is easier than weed eating for half the time it seems. Since I bought a new weed eater though, im fine with it. Never knew I was missing out by using crap when I was younger.

I cut my grass.. And it sucks.. I live on a hill and have 2 banks that a long and steep. I takes me about a hour to cut the grass with a push mower. No way could use is a rider. Then when it's time to cut those dreaded banks you have to wear cleats in order to stand up and you have to use a weed eater and it take about 3 1/2 - 4 hours of weed eating to get done. Over the years it don't help to complain you just do it and go on, but it does suck. But it's gotta get done and I was raised to take care of your place and not hire something that you can do for yourself.

We cut the grass. I am given to understand that a "lawn" is something that stays put whenever you throw weed killer on it. Well, if you threw weed killer in my yard, it's be dust!

I cut grass. I use a riding mower, push mower, and weed eater. If I do it by myself and its the week I need to weed eat the hill behind my house it takes about 4 hours. 3 hours if I don't week eat the hill behind the house. Its steep and rocky so I only cut it every other time. Add another hour for cutting my fiancés grass since she has some lazy ass boys. If they was mine I would take my weed eater to their ass till it was cut.

The type of weed eater you have makes a world of difference. I use a stihl.

I cut grass also with my riding lawn mower, And use Roundup around my house. nice golden trim look around my house.I guess you can say i have a golden look. :truestory:

I cut grass and don't hate me. It takes me 5 minutes. The one of a few upsides of living in lil redneck mayberry is a postage stamp lawn.

I went from 3 hours to 1:45 mins to 5 mins. My next step is 0 mins….

I think they "mow the lawn" in Wisconsin!

I'm usually the one who mows the lawn, cutting the grass makes me think of people using scissors for it.
