Okay, I know no one reads any of my threads on here so I'm hoping someone will read this one. MY cat was born in Febuary so she is almost a year old and she has been starting to act weird. She has always had a pot belly but now it seems to be getting bigger and more noticable if you look at her from the top. Her nipples though are still really small and doesn't seem to be getting any bigger or changing colors like they would if she was pregnant. Today she started walking funny, like swaying her hips more than normal when she walked and moved her tail and when we brought her inside earlier, she wouldn't come to me nor Heather. She hasn't wanted anyone to love on her like she normally would. A few minutes ago I went downstairs to check on her and I found her in the same closet, in the same spot where she was born just layin there wide-awake but hidden like a cat getting ready to have birth would. She let me pick her up and she started purring when I loved on her but now shes in the corner of the room where it's dark just laying there. So my question what could we wrong with her? If she is pregnant it would be in a really early stage or so I think, we took her to the vet a couple months ago and had her checked for kittens he said he didn't feel any.
So if you know anything about this it would be a great help.

I hate to say it, but possibly a tumor?

I would take her to the vet, could be several things, but if she keep going to the same spot it normally means one of two things, a place to have her kittens, or a place that she feels is safe to her during discomfort.

I have a dog that will occasionally do the same thing. My kids called me one day and told me she was laying on a pair of pants in the bathroom and growled anytime they went near her. Turned out to be nothing. Hope it's the same for your cat.

She seemed to be back to normal today. She woke me up by sitting on my chest and bathing my face this morning which is what she does when she wants me to wake up and love on her....
