the first game was in stanton in late march, powell won 12-0 in the shut out. the game tonight was about the same outcome, but not the shut out and 7 innings were played. the first 3 or so innings had only 1 hit and no walks, it was a pitchers duel, untill powell broke out the bats. powell scored 3 in the 4th off several hits, i think they had 8+ batters come to the plate 2 times in the game. then in the 5th they scored another 4. kinser pitched a great game, he had 11 k's and was almost perfect on the night. pelfrey, brewer, reed, and kinsercame up big. good win for powell.

Good win for the Pirates. Good to see kinser come around on the mound. He could be really effective.
