Mark Buehrle hurled the first no-hitter in the big leagues this year, striking out eight while allowing one walk, as the White Sox socked the Rangers 6-0. It was the 16th no-hitter in ChiSox history and first since Wilson Alvarez threw one at Baltimore on Aug. 11, 1991.

This was a no-hitter. He walked only one, and ended up picking him off at first base. He faced the minimum 27 batters. Excellent performance by Buehrle. Congrats to him!
