That would be a bad movie on the greyhounds part! They want Raceland in the mud!
#64
I hope we come out focused and put this one away early enough to keep everyone fresh and injury-free for next week.
#65
Gotta win this one first Doc! Right now there is no next week!!
#66
The game has been moved to Bourbon County on their turf field. The reason for the move is due to unsafe field conditions at Paris. Game time still 7:30.

The mud would help the Raceland running game.

I have no idea, I was just posting what I saw retweeted on Aaron Snyder's twitter from Raceland's principal.

I would say they wanted on the turf because they think it will help them. They do have some speed so I think that’s why it was moved. Won’t help much far as I see the game going still think it will be bad for Paris. Just won’t get their uniforms so nasty.

It will be nice to get on turf in the event we win and are lucky enough to win next week before playing at Pikeville.

Well Doc like you said before some work to do for these four before it gets to that but I hope there is football (High School) in Pikeville in 3 weeks. Good luck Friday and hope for no injuries and you guys have a safe trip.

Paris field is in a flood zone. That’s why they changed it more than likely. A creek run right beside it. Within 30 yards...

I remember a game back in the late 90s(I was merely a water boy in 3rd or 4th grade lol), but Raceland played Paris a week after a big storm that flooded the field. That and the Bath County game at home in that same time period are the sloppiest Raceland games I can recall. My senior year against Bera was pretty bad too. Lot of standing water that game. Anyone think the change of venue changes anything in the games outcome?

I do not think so.

Good Luck Rams.

Paris is not good. They could play this game in a parking lot and Raceland is going to roll.
#79
It is official. Game is at Bourbon County High School. The football field is behind the school and you will have to park in the front of the school..

No lawn chairs or canopies around the field tomorrow night. There goes 2/3 of our fan base lol
#81
What I love about our home field games though. Always got the chairs lined up!!

Turf or mud Rams win big
#83
Yeah ....everyone thinks a running team gets the nod on a muddy field but I don’t believe that’s the case. Its hard for lineman to get any footing to move D lineman! I say advantage to the D if the defense is any good at all! I also think if you can get a dry ball it’s easier to throw the ball in the mud! The defense can’t get a pass rush in the slop and receivers become extremely difficult to cover! Idk...maybe a unorthodox take on it but it’s just me!

Rams win gets them an all expenses paid trip to beautiful Paintsville.

That’s a lie. I’ve gone to Paintsville for playoff games every year since 2015 and I have not had a single drop of gas or meal paid for during any of those trips.

Yeah....hahaha one would think that the all mighty Rams and their coaches could some how manage to win the one game on their schedule that means anything at least every other year!! But....I guess that’s wishful thinking!
