I have been prank called several times this week and i was just wondering if anyone knows a way I can stop it?

i got one, it just dosnt show a name or number when im getting pranked but other times it will work.

You can call the phone company or cellular provider and they can pull the number up then you can then have it blocked that way.

Not always true. I used to work for Nextel and I work for a phone company right now. Cellular companies actually can't obtain those blocked numbers without a subpoena. As for home telephone service. They can't pull these number either if it is blocked.

If you can't figure out what number they are calling from I recommend changing the number...which is sometimes pricey, or calling the police station.

Prank calling IS against the law and they can trace the calls and put a stop to them.

We used to have to recommend this to our cellular customers all the time because there simply wasn't anything else we could do.

I have my phone set up that if they try to block their number it won't come through!! They have to SHOW the number before the call is allowed! Check with your phone company and see if this is offered with your package that you have!
