Well Russell Flatwoods played but did not win the state this year. Beating Lexington in the first game, loosing to Louisville St. Matthews in game two. St Matthews won the state last year. Then loosing to Owensboro Southern (who will probably winthe whole thing) 10-8. We had the chance to win it but with bases loaded, 2 outs in the 6th- with our power hitter up, pops up to shallow right and the second basemen grabs a snowcone and saves the game. I did find out after the game that Owensboro has 10, 11 year olds of the 13 kids on the team. All have the magic birthday and played in the same 9-10 tourney last year as old 9 year olds. Oh well on to football....
