Mccracken came to play for sure. They are a good team ran well to the ball on defense and played way better than their first game against PT which I saw. They have improved while Mayfield has gone backwards from first game. Both team need to cleanup the penalties. Hey a 6A should beat a 2A everynow and then. Good luck Mccracken on your season. Cardinals got some learning to do but think we be fine in 2A until Sub State anyway

Let’s talk about streaks.

First, this was the first loss at home since we lost to this team in OT in 2015. (We went on to win state though)

The biggest though, was this was the first time we ever lost in the black jerseys. I was discussing that very point with former #42. We have had those jerseys since mid way through 2011 season and had never lost a game in them until tonight.

Also, I think this may be the first time we lost to a team that we were supposed to beat since Hazard in 2011.

That staff is a good one. They will learn from this and get better. If this wake up call makes you better by the end of the season it will be worth it.

Our defense is horrible don’t see anyway to fix it. Small up front dbacks can’t keep up don’t have to have much time when you can just sling it down the field and the secondary can’t look back for the ball because they are trying to catch up. All this and the biggest problem to me is they don’t act like they care. This is not a team to put on the red helmet I thought I would ever see.

I'll also say I don't blame Jackson Purchase for getting his shot in in the other thread. Their are a few that run that mouth to much to much on here, and since his team did some humbling I say let him have at it there is a few that deserve some crow. Guess that McCracken line must have been pretty good. I don't even post much anymore cause it gets so ridiculous at times.

Might be wise to see how some of these injuries play out before making such predictions. I think most would agree this defense hasn't shown they can carry the water if something bad were to happen with the offense.
