I was shocked when you God-fearing Christians accepted Trump, a notorious lecher, and unsavory Yankee Democrat, as your Republican leader, but over the past month you have explained away an undermining of our elections, an attack on the United States Capitol, and now a golden idol to Trump at a conservative meeting.  

Don't get me wrong, I have been thoroughly amused at the pretzel you have twisted into, and the fact you have, literally, pulled in scripture to support treason and false idols.     

All this time, you and other conservatives have held liberals to a set of expectations that you folks have voluntarily tossed aside for King Trump, yet you double down and triple down making a larger and larger mockery of conservatism and Christianity.
