Trent Noah comess up big with 36 points to lead the Bears (5-1) over Brad Sizemore's Bobcats, who fall to 1-3 . Harlan County will next play Fairdale in the KOTB while Bell Co. will try to get back on the winning side of the ledger when they host Garrard Co.

Bell County's age and inexperience are going to lead to a rocky road out the gate, but this was a good performance by them. Woolum is the only player on this team with real varsity experience leading in to this season, when this bunch gets to February they will be a tough out.

I agree. Bell is always dangerous around March. Bell cut the lead to four in the third quarter but then Noah does what Noah does--- he built an ark and led his team to safety. lol Without Noah, Bell likely wins this one.

Sizemore always does a great job and Bell made an impressive run last year with down-to-the-wire wins over HC and Harlan, but they hadn't won a game in the district tournament in six years and hadn't won the district championship in eight years,

I know you're sure about what you said. But it sure doesn't feel that way!!!

This group of bobcats can grow to be special. Not true contenders for region, but will compete for the district in how they match up. If they play teams without a dominant big man, like north, corbin, south, they can play to the end with anyone. Sizemore is the best x and o coach i’ve seen in this region in a while and is building this team for march, and his players for the next couple seasons.
2 freshman starters, 1. sophomore starter. then off the bench is freshman, sophomore, 8th grader, 7th grader, then all freshman deep in jv. They will develop
