Referees made some HORRIBLE calls late in the game. I'm not at home now so I'll give details later.

Unsportsmanlike conduct on Greenup Co at the 1 yard line. Backs them up 15 yards. Instead of 1st and goal from the 16 Greenup is given 1st and 10 and gets seven plays to try and score.

Is that close to the way it went.

By the way, the penalty was on a GC fan on the sidelines giving it to the officials. The Ironic thing is that the fan is a former official himself.

Boyd spikes the ball. Stops the clock. O lineman jumped off sides. Back' em up 5 yards.

Next play from appx the 7 yd line. On 4th down 2nd to last play of the game. The clock is running with under :05 Boyd Co stops Greenup. Greenup has no time outs. Game Set Match. BC Students Coaches Players flood the field. Time ran out. Boyd Wins!

Referees say, No! Greenup gets 1 more play.

After a 10 minute delay. Greenup gets the ball. Snap>Pass>Completion. Game.

Greenup Wins.

Wow who would have imagined Greenup would be playing for a Regional championship, after the way their season started, grats to Greenup. Would have been nice if Raceland could have pulled it off last night, you would have all 3 schools in the county playing for a Regional championship next week. Really looks good for the county to at least have 2.
