Why would a loaded Clay County start the season with 3 Class A opponents? How does this prepare them for district competition? Confusing

I’m as big of a critic as anyone. I honestly like the names on the schedule. Sure some games definitely should be winnable but the main thing, they got some teams that they will have to play hard to beat on this schedule. I think every team has a winnable game. But Clay is right where they need to be in class 3a and they have a chance to beat some good teams in their district this year. But after a heavy graduation this season, next year as they are regrouping, they’re not getting their heads bashed in. Clay has a chance to beat Rock, Knox, Bell and Hazard. That’s a tuff schedule for Clay. I like it. I hope they win them all!
