This is such a sad story.. this guy should get nothing less than the death penalty..
HOMOSASSA, Florida (CNN) -- Evidence suggests that 9-year-old Jessica Marie Lunsford was sexually assaulted before she was killed, Citrus County Sheriff Jeff Dawsy said Sunday night.
"There is evidence to the [medical examiner] of a sexual assault," Dawsy told reporters.
Police have said convicted child abuser John Evander Couey, 46, has confessed to the killing.
The law enforcement sources said the suspect entered Lunsford's house in Homosassa, Florida, on the night of February 23, made his way to the girl's bedroom, put his hand over her mouth, told her to be quiet, and forced her to leave.
Her body was found at 4 a.m. Saturday buried behind Couey's sister's home, which is within sight of the Lunsford home, where a police command center was set up to coordinate the search for her.
Facing the camera, the father addressed the suspect: "I hope you rot in hell, and I hope you get the death penalty. And I hope you can find it somewhere in you to be a man and stand up and take your punishment."

This story really bothers me.. I dont know whats wrong with someone that would want to hurt an innocent child in anyway. Children are so precious.. I hope he burns in hell and is torchered slowly..
