From what I’ve heard, Al has already accepted the job. Had a friend who talked to one of Hazards assistants and said he confirmed Al has told them he was going to Pike Central. Not sure when it will be posted or officially announced.

Look for the announcement tomorrow. 

As for what’s more appealing? All depends on your perspective I’d imagine. Holland is a legendary coach but maybe a time to move on for both parties. Not sure many others would still be around at Hazard if the results Al had produced would be replicated. 

Maybe he wants a fresh start. Maybe Hazard does. They have had some great talent thru the years and a lot of disappointment in region. 

Maybe he has grandkids in Pike County and just wants to be closer to family in the twilight of his career.

Who knows? But, I do believe it’s happening.

They have 5 of their top 6 returning. 3 of which play football. 2 of the 3 that play football are seniors. Their families are tied deeply to Bobcat athletics.

I don’t believe they transfer their senior year after going to BL their entire lives.

BL is one good transfer away from being pretty good again next year.

They are also one transfer out from being pretty bad next year... Interested to see what happens in the coming months.

They have 5 of their top 6 returning. 3 of which play football. 2 of the 3 that play football are seniors. Their families are tied deeply to Bobcat athletics.

Same could be said for 99.9% of the region.

I pray not!!!  It’s be a sad day!  The Hall kids are great ball players, but better kids.  I’d personally like to see them finish their high school career in Blue and Orange. But I’m biased.

Heard from a good source and friend that if Fc gets the right coach you will see grant hall there with his friends/AAU teammates. I won’t even say good source because his dad said it.
