The Cards broke a 17 game losing streak to Corbin with a 7-6 9 inning win on Wednesday and followed it up with an 8-4 victory on Thursday to secure the #2 seed in the district. These two will play again in an elimination game in the district tourney and there is a real chance that the Hounds may not make it to the regional tournament this year. There is an awful lot on talent on this Corbin team to go out that quickly, so what seems to be the problem?

So much talent, but a lot of head scratching losses. And overall, just a really disappointing season so far.
