McCracken County - The best program that's not won a State Baseball Championship?
#1
Opened on August 9th, 2013, McCracken County High School consolidated Heath HS, Lone Oak HS & Reidland HS.
Since their inception, the Mustangs have played in every state baseball tournament from 2014 through 2025 (minus the 2020 season).

2025 - ?
2024 - State Runner-Up
2023 - Quarterfinals
2022 - Semi-Finals
2021 - State Runner-Up
2019 - State Runner-Up
2018 - Semi-Finals
2017 - Semi-Finals
2016 - Semi-Finals
2015 - First Round
2014 - First Round

Is McCracken County the best program in Kentucky that's not won a Team State Baseball Championship (yet)?

I would think so, or at least they have a strong argument. Open up with Lyon County this year, which will be a tough first-round matchup. And then if they win, they look at a good South Warrne team if they beat Highlands. Oh, and then if they get to the Final 4, they are probably looking at PRP (unless Corbin knocks them off). It's a tough road to get their first one.

I'd agree

That's definitely a impressive resume there.  A State title is all they need to go with it.

Best of luck to them!

Add another Semifinal appearance - at the minimum.
