I've seen some BL folks say they went undefeated vs. both Raceland & Ashland.

If so, that's pretty impressive for a really young BL squad.

Dang I'm glad BL isn't in Class A. If they are beating the preseason Class A state champs in 7 on 7 Pikeville would be ranked 4th in their district and be out of the Class A top 10...

Everything wide open bac as you know. Just saying 9/3 will be fun but it will all be decided in late November and early December.

10/3 is good one. But my eyes are on 9/19 before that.

With Hazards additions, they will be a lot more stout upfront. It’s definitely peaked my interest in how these games play out within that district as well as the regular season match ups between Raceland/Pikeville (as if that one needed anything to peak anyone’s interest) and the Raceland/Hazard game. We all saw how the RPI can affect things. So those games now have some real implications. Personally, I hope it creates some really good small school football. It was nice seeing competitive games in the semis and finals last year.

Rams got a lot to work on in the passing game. Gotta get cleaner. This is the first year that we seem to be the hunted. Practice intensity will have to be turned up imo. Not worried or concerned, but we can’t be complacent and rest on the fact that we return a lot.
