Virginia wants him badly, and with the racial problems kentucky has been linked to with not accepting a black coach, tubby might leave for the acc and join virginia......

lol..not heard about there racial problems?? hello this was a program at one point in time that didnt allow black players...and people have said that kentucky wasnt accepting of a black coach...and if he does leave, pitino is back

Yeah, UK along with every other school in the United States AT ONE TIME, did not allow black players. I think all doubts about Tubby or his race were over after 1998.

ok im sick and tired of people talkin about tubby winning in 98 and that being his ticket to success....lets get this straight those kids were pitinos, pitino recruited them, and pitinos team made it to the finals 3 straight years from 96-98....tubby hasn not made a final four with his kids yet

lol...um hello....im asian, so i am colored...adolph rupp was a bonafide racist, ask ne one that knew him...and you know people in kentucky want pitino back, heck i even want him back, not cuz tubbys black cuz like i said im colored, pitino just plays more exciting basketball...and tubby once again has yet to reach a final four with his kids...

Tubby wont leave with all this young talent he has. Racism has long since passed the UK progam. The racial problem I always hear people around here talking about is how all of UK's players are pretty much black, which would say the program is racist towards whites. Which none of this is true.

Von Wafer u can say what u want about Rupp. yes he was racist but in that time almost everyone was. Rupp wasnt as racist as u think though. do some research next time.

I knwo a lot of fans that don't like tubby because until this year.. he had like 2 or 3 white guys on the team.. and they didn't really get to play.. but no one i know dilikes him cause he himself is black. But i would rather see pitino come back.. Not because tubby is black, but because i just like pitino better.

like i said Von yes he was raqcist but he had his reasons. back then Lexington was a very racist town, plus the SEC was a racist conference. he knew bringin black players into his home town would cause problems and he would be afraid for them on away trips to more racist places like Miss State.
Rupp did attempt to recruit a black player, and the one that he did commited a crime i believe. i think he assualted or raped someone.
so i am just sayin know somethings before u start sayin things.

but anyways Tubby is here til he wants to leave i think. and to the rest of u all, if Pitino was to come back even though i hate him too we would all love it. cause he would be UK's coach.
