Pervs, you thought that I was going to talk about something else didn't you? lol

I am going to start working out and was wondering if anyone had any good ideas. Here is my background so recommend something that you think would be the right amount of workout for me...

I am 5'6'' and I weigh about 125 pounds. I played basketball for 8 years. I have had knee surgery on my left knee but that was nearly a year ago. I haven't had a decent workout since 2 years ago! I do not want to gain muscle, just lose a LITTLE weight and tone my muscle that I have......

Please offer any suggestions.... Big Grin

Aerobics. you will loose weight, and your muscles will get more toned up, and it is low impact on your knee.

Yeah I need to exercise some too... I havent exercised since before I got PG with baby #2 and he is now nine months old so its been a while. I try to take walks though every couple of days or more when it is warm. I dont want to lose weight just get better muscle tone...right now Im kind of lazy... Big Grin

Do plenty of cardio for weight loss, and diet.. do light reps on weights, and about 3 or 4 sets of each lift.

I hope your not suggesting I lift weights..lol.. that will never happen. I substitute weight lifting with child lifting. I lift a 20 lb 9 month old and a 40lb 4 year old all day long and Im only 86 lbs...lol...

well then all you need is cardio.. but why in the hell would you want to lose weight if you weigh 86 pounds. lol.. I got body parts that weigh more than you lol

I have access to three pound and five pound weights.

A Gazelle runner workout thing.

6 Second Abs along with the training DVD's.

Finally, I have some other kind of chair that you sit in and do crunches while holding this bar thing about my head....

I just don't know how often and how long to use these things. The 6 Second Abs videos help but I want to tone my arms and do not know how to do so....

86 LBS? you must look like a skeleton with skin stretched over it. if you ever break a bone, we can hold you up to the light and look right thru you!

I finally started lifting weights in my weight training class and I can tell a difference in my arms a little. I also need to lose about 40 lbs.

i dont think that i need to lose too much weight, like 10 pounds at the most, i just want to get toned Sad i just really dont know how to go about doing it that well.

BGG, i have saw pictures of you and you ARE VERY petite. very very very petite! there is nothing wrong with that though. my little cousin just turned 2 and barely weighs 20 pounds...that's too tiny for her age too.
