Greenup very easily handles the Eagles from Johnson Central. Greenup County is really on fire right now. Playing some excellent ball. They are arguabally the best team east of Lexington when Heinerman is on the mound. My guess JC was holding back some pitching for tomorrow's seeded game. If anybody has any stats please post them.

Well I think a little team from Lawrence Co has already beaten you once in preseason and regular season. Also Paintsville has a good little team.

Where were you this past weekend. The game before this one Greenup was no hit/no run with several strikeouts against Louisville Dupont Manual. Until 5/6/06 when they play Lawrence county again. Lawrence is at the top NE Ky baseball. I hope in the game in May that both teams throw their best.
GC can brag then, but I wouldn't want to bet money on GC in the best two out of three against LC.

That's why it says ARGUABALLY! I was posting the score, they are not my team. If you go back and read my posts you will see they are clearly not my team. However, when Heinerman is on the mound, like I said, they have a chance to beat anybody.
Paintsville is also very good. I think the 3 teams that would be in this argument all have great aces, and when they throw those aces, anyone of them can just about beat anybody.

You won't have to. The 15th plays the 13th this year in the best 2 out of 3 in the sectionals.

I know that. I was speaking just in general. I believe that LC would have a good chance of taking the best two out of three against GC. I know that won't happen. LC Mr. Sheperd is as good as any I seen at Greenup.

I agree LC has a great pitching staff.

Lawrence is better then Greenup, However Greenup will give them a good game saying that their bats wake up

It's up in the air for me. I think they may be by seasons end, but right now, the way Greenup is playing the may have the edge over LC. However, I think it will change by seasons end.

It is very possible, I think if Greenup plays the way they usually do during the post season then it will be tight.

I agree with both of you...if both teams were on there A game, it would be a really close game
