I felt as if Lewis should have dominated this one but a win is a win. Congrats.

Bracken almost pulled out the win. But almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Congrats on the win Lewis!!!

I'll second, third, fourth and fifth that statement.
There was a person out at a practice the other day and said if they threw a net the could have caught 5 or 6 GOB'S in one throw.

That is bad. Until they do something with them. No one can help that program.

I agree, You know what the one of the bad things is they will talk about each other then turn around be all buddy buddy to get what they want.

I do want to say something,There are a few and I mean a mighty few people that do things right in LC.They are fair in playing good players and could care less who is who. They have my respect.  :champ:

How can they won anything. If they don't play there best players. No matter if they are FR, SO, JR or SR. The best player should play. The coach i have. If you was a starter one week, don;t mean you was the starter the next week. If you work hard all week. Then you start.

That is the way it should be.

It is like that at alot of places. Best players stand on the sideline and because he's so and so's son or because his daddy owns that , THEY PLAY! Not to speculate that is the case at Lewis but it is the case at alot of schools and their records usually speak for it. But in situations like that it seems to be more important to let the "POLITICS"( of the community) be more important then to actually try to win football games. As long as John Doe's boy got to start it really don't matter if we win, "As long as my boy gets to start". I hope that's not the case, Lewis has a really nice facility.

The players who works the hardest should play! If a better player gives less of an effort every day at practice and another player who may not be quite as good but gives 100% every day, You play the player who gives 100% every day over the more talented player who don't. Rest assured the more talented player who don't give his all will take a play off and get you beat. The player who may not be as good but gives 100% every day will at least if nothing more give you 100% and what more can you ask.

You absolutley hit the nail on the head with this post. In most sports i'm talking from the top to the bottom that is the way it is.
I do believe Josh tries to do the right thing though.I really feel for him.

In alot of situations the player who may be playing due to politics( not because he's the best player) may be the son of the of a big-time booster or a "BIG WIG" of the community. If you play them you lose but if you don't next thing you know there's petitions flying around and secret meetings going on about getting a new coach. I'm not saying at all that is the situation at Lewis because I don't know. I do know that kind of crap does go on. It's a catch 22.
Better players stand and watch and the "DONATORS TO THE PROGRAM" kids play while kids who could actually help you win a game stand on the sideline.
If you play them you lose.........If you don't after a bad season the "secret town meetings" to form the hatchet club and the "signed petitions" don't provide good job security. Once again I am not saying that is the case at Lewis in any means but it happens all the time.
