Bell County's Merrick became the All-Time Career PAT leader for Kentucky High School Football....breaking Williams of Trinity of 201. Merrick's new total stands at 205.

Bobcats keep on rolling. Bell up 35-0 by end of quarter and 56-0 at half. Merrick was 8-8 PAT's in rain....and attempted a 63 yd. Fair Catch Free Kick Field Goal attempt. It had plenty of distance but hooked it left in rain! JV played entire second half. Due to conditions...varsity did not dress for second half.

yea i was there merrick's kick was just a little to the left but had the distance, Bell County just outmanned lawrence county. I liked how hard the bulldogs played though.

Man, what a upset!! 
Never attended the game because I knew what would happen but congrats to Bell on the W and LC needs to hit the weights first thing Monday and maybe we might win a game next year.

This season was a night mare I am just glad it's over. One thing for sure this program only has one way to go from here UP.

yeah.. thats probably the best 0-11 team you will ever see..

That's what ever says every year... We are the best losing team they have ever saw. But nothing ever changes. We have good coaches and we have good talent but I have no idea why we can't win. I think we might be cursed or something. :confused:

I saw LC several times in the late 90s thru 2002 and was highly impressed. It appears that whatever is needed is there, it just needs to be utilized and brought back.
