14th Region pitching, Part II

In the preseason, everyone speculated as to who the top pitchers would be in the 14th. Now that the season is finished (except for Estill), who were some of the best? From what I saw, Freeman is in a class by himself.

All I know is we lack pitching. That is what is killing us. The year we won the region, we had pitching.

what happened to jimmy joe morgan? i didnt hear much bout him this year.

I didn't see the gun in the press box this year. I do know when Hazard beat PCC 10-3, Meehan hit 85 once. He was consistently 80-83 that night. As for Jimmy Joe, he has a very live arm and I think with some minor adjustments he could be a good pitcher in college. He was very good the first time through the lineup but if you crowded the plate JJ didn't like that. Tough kid and maybe will be like his brother and start out in short relief or to face some lefties.

Who do you think coach Dean will get as some pitching next year. I have heard that the 14th Region tournament is going to be at LCC next year. Can anyone confirm it?
