i considered joining because i love football, but honestly i dont understand how this works with the draft and such, if you could explain i will join, and what do they mean your league is different?

The draft is lie at 7:30 tonight
What I mean by different is I included some defensive players on the teams to make it a little different than most leagues that only include a team defense.

It's easy really. Just draft your player when your turn comes around in the draft.

You need to get thete a few minutes early.

The draft is arguably the funnest part of Fantasy Football. You are radomly assigned a draft position and it alteranted between rounds (For example if you draft 1st overall in the 1st round, you won't pick until the last pick of Round 2... or if you draft last in Round 1, you will draft first in Round 2). This then usually requires strategy and risk taking so you get the players you want.

The most different aspect of this league besides the defensive players is the weighting of the scoring and the fact it is what is called a PPR League (points per reception)

I have never been in one of these exotic leagues in terms of scoring so I think it will be fun.

If you can't find anyone else just do what we did last year with our office and create the "BYE WEEK TEAM". Basically it is a team who everybody beats because al yuo do is pickup players who either will never hardly see the field or players who are more of a joke than anything. You pick the worst ranked defense. As the commissioner you just have to agree that noone is allowed to trade with the players on that team.

You can even have fun with it since you are an OSU fan and either pick only Ohio State players.. or go the other way and pick only Michigan players since everyone should beat them.

I will tell you, though, it's more like the ordinary fantasy football league. It's not as crazy as NEWARKCATHOLICFAN's league is. I did make some changes in the points:

If your quarterback has better than 65% passing accuracy, you gain points.
At 65% accuracy, points aren't awarded.
Less than 65% accuracy, points are taken away.
(The 65% accuracy is known to be around the average accuracy for quarterbacks. Therefore, when choosing quarterbacks, you not only must chose a quarterback who can get yards and touchdowns, but also accurate throws.)

Also, each reception is 0.25 points (for those "possession" receivers).
