#3
Highlands plays Manual at Manual on Aug. 21.
#4
Betsy Layne plays Bishop Brossart
August 21st
#5
I think Prestonsburg plays Belfry on the 21st.
#6
All the schedules should be up on the KHSAA website and let you know who plays on the 21st.
#7
The last time I checked the 2009 schedules weren't listed. But on the same day I noticed someone had posted links to schedules for the upcoming season. I know last season I couldn't find the current stats on KHSAA, but other members had posted links to view them. I must need a road map on KHSAA.

It was my understanding that KHSAA teams can start on 8/21 if they have a bye inserted into the season. Anyone have more info?

That would be correct.
#17
I think they had the choice of 2 pre-season scrimmags and no bye week; or 1 pre-season scrimmage and a bye week.

The Bowling Green vs Christian County is a very exciting first game of the season. These two teams should be fighting for the championship game in the west for 5A.
