Before you watch the video just know the church I attend is far from "Traditional". I go to 12 Stones Church in Lawrenceville, Ga and it is the most unique church I have ever attended. The Pastor Kevin Meyers is very progressive in his teachings and believes in presenting th Scripture while also making church "fun".

This past Sunday was Mother's Day so after Praise & Worship they did their own twist to honor the Mothers. If you ever wanna check out some of the messages go to http://www.12stone.com and they offer videos of the sermons as well as Free Podcasts.



At the end of the service Pastor Meyers then announced that for any single mother in the audience, or any mother who's family is going through a tough time who can't celebrate a relaxing day due to financial burdens, to go grab an envelop from the desk in the front lobby. Each envelope had a 50.00 bill in it.

What a great way to celebrate Mother's Day. I wish our church would do something like that. Our church didn't do much for Mother's Day.
