Rematch of last year's 4A Final. Should be a good one.

Yep, it should be a great day of football.
Game#1 is the "Clash of the Titans"
Game#2 is the 2010 4A State Final rematch

I don't see Mercer beating Collins at all. Not unless they are 100% better than last year.
I do think ACS and Boyle will be a good barometer for both as they struggle to replace what was lost from last year.

I was under the assumption that Collins lost alot to graduation. If not, then Collins should win. There's a rejuvenated spirit in Mercer Co with a new coach & a new system. I mean, I was told after the Boyle/HHS game by a Mercer fan after watching us play they like their chances of beating us. That was one fans opinion, but it shows the spirit...I told him he was stupid.lol

Collins and Boyle County.
I only know one person from Mercer who expects Mercer to be better this year than thy were last year and Sportzanimal already mentioned him. I do think Rains is changing the culture and has Mercer going in the right direction but this year they will only see some improvement from last year but not a whole lot. I hope they surprise me though.

Yeah. They'll have to buy-in to this new system. A win would go a l-o-n-g way in building some confidence in a young Mercer team. I'll pull for them, but don't think it'll happen.

Oh,what the heck,I'm going with Mercer in the first game.
Boyle wins by 3 TDs in the 2nd game.

If Mercer can run the ball well, they might be on upset alert over Collins. Collins allowed 240 yards on the ground against Meade last week, and 132 in the air. From what I know about Collins, they were known for their high octane passing offense they going last year. (Or so I thought, I could be wrong..). Their offense seems to be down aswell, seeing as they only managed a meager 161 yards of total offense themselves.
Mercer will also be battling first game jitters. Should be a good one. I'll take Collins in a nail bitter, simply because Mercer will make first game mistakes Collins should have ironed out.
As for the second game... We all know who i'll be rooting for. :eye roll:
Boyle rushed for 193 and passed for 54 last week. The first game jitters are out, so everyone will be read to play, i'm sure. I don't have any stats from ACS and BG last week, but BG sure took it to them. A win on the road at Boyle hasn't been achieved (barring last week, obviously) in quite some time. Boyle wins by 2 scores.

I agree Rebel Rowdie Boyle will be a tough out tonight. Numerous people in the county this week have ask me "whats wrong with Boyle this year". We go 43-2 under French and they think the wheels have come off the train. French and staff will right the ship with a big win tonight. Boyle by at least 21. I really like the name of the bowl. "Stuart Powell Built Ford Tough Bowl". And remember that the Ford Motor Company took no tax money a few years ago in the huge automobile bailout.

Hope everyone enjoyed our first bowl game... Would really like to know what everyone thought of how everything went. Just looking for feedback, positive or negative, to build on for next year. Thanks, again, to Stuart Powell Ford-Lincoln-Mazda!!!
