Is Scooter Hollis being recruited by anyone?

He is looking to go to an Ivy League school. He has talked to several and they are interested. He is maturing at the right time. A great all around young man.

This was the most dominating game I have ever seen the Purples play. Owensboro only had 1 first down and -46 yards total for the game. Bowling Green is firing on all cylinders.

I'm beginning to think that the move to 4A may payoff for Highlands this year. I'm not so sure who would win a game between BG and HHS, but each week I'm leaning a bit more towards BG.

It would sure be a great game to watch!

cupcake, Owensboro is way down.

I assume this is from another great Harlan County fan. They should be tired of cupcakes by now.

Easy for you to say this when you know you do not have to play them. Highlands would win easily.

Actually, there's an outside chance that my team could play HHS......you see, I'm not a BG fan, I'm just man enough to make mention of when someone other than my own team is playing well. And I've been more impressed with BG than HHS based on who they've played and how they've won. Just IMO.
I'm just saying that BG vs HHS looks to be a good matchup. Your entitled to your opinion....even if it sounds asinine.

Congrats Purples.

I am the first to say Highlands schedule is a bore this year, but BG's schedule is bad too(Allen 2-3, Henry1-4, X 2-3, Henderson 2-3, Owensboro 2-3). Highlands would have blown BG away last year. Highlands is just as good, if not better this year, what would give BG the advantage this year? Why is my opinion asinine? Highlands is ahead of BG in all the polls, are those people asinine also. I am not saying the are not a good team (I think the have a good chance to win 5A), but they are not on the same level as Highlands. What is more impressive in how BG has won over how Highlands has won. Do you want Highlands to not play the first string at all?

Most of us normal people don't worship Highlands like you do. Highlands beat Boyle by 21 and John Hardin beat Boyle by 28. What is so amazing about that Highlands win? Did they play their JV against Boyle? Keep tooting that Highlands horn. Your logic is a little off.

Either way, this year or last year would have been great matchup between two great programs. Both BG(5A) and HHS(4A) side of the bracket are loaded with a lot of good teams. Most of the teams from 5A Playoff are on BG side. And HHS has a lot of teams that are just waiting to take them down. A lot of ball still to play. I won't be surprised to see both playing come Dece. And if so I would hope they would play on the same day so I could watch both.

Last year would have been a terrible match up. BG could not get past Christian Co (14-10) and Highlands crushed them 50-0. They would have crushed BG also.

It's funny. Over on Kentucky Preps no matter the thread it always ends with a conversation about Trinity and St. X. Here highlands always has to be the topic.
Congrats Purples
Congrats Purples

yeah and it was also the same team that lost to Trinity by two as well that year.

It was mostly just sarcasm, but it is not far from the truth.
Bowling Green opponents have won 36% of their games
Harlan County opponents have won 31% of their games plus there are 7 total points that is standing between 4 more wins for the HC opponents.
I dont think either school has anticipated their opponents being as down as they have been when they were scheduled. I'm hoping for Purple and Black clash in Bowling Green, it would be awesome beyond words.

I hope so too. The crowd would be unbelievable. I know those fans in Harlan County would like to take a short vacation to Bowling Green.
